Immigration and Refugee Protection Act And Regulations

Pursuant to subsection 9(1) of the Canada Border Services Agency Act ¹, I hereby delegate any power, duty, or function

1. that I am authorized to exercise or perform under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act ² and that is set out in the attached instrument to any Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency or in his or her absence, the person carrying out his or her duties and functions; and
2. described in Column 3 of an item of the instrument in relation to a provision of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act specified in column 2 of the item to each person whose title is specified in Column 4 of the item or, in his or her absence, the person carrying out his or her duties and functions.

Pursuant to subsection 9(3) of the Canada Border Services Agency Act, I hereby designate as officers

1. to carry out any purpose of any provision of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act set out in the attached instrument, any Vice‑President of the Canada Border Services Agency or in his or her absence, the person carrying out his or her duties and functions; and
2. to carry out the powers and duties specified in column 3 of an item of the instrument in relation to a provision set out in column 2 of the item, any officer holding a position set out in column 4 of that item or, in his or her absence, the person carrying out his or her duties and functions.
