Cornwall, Ontario, June 01, 2009 – As a result of a risk to the health and safety of the travelling public and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) employees, the CBSA closed the Cornwall (Ontario) Port of Entry Office located on Cornwall Island as of 11:45 p.m. on May 31.
Travellers are urged to use either the Prescott, ON/Ogdensburg, NY port of entry or the Dundee, Quebec/Fort Covington, NY port of entry to enter Canada from the United States.
Please check the Canada Border Services Agency web site for updates on the Cornwall Port of Entry closure and wait times at other locations.
