Please ensure that these cards are distributed to the travellers.  Note that the current version of the card has either E311 (12/04) or E311 (12/06) in the bottom left hand corner. ALL OF THE PREVIOUS VERSIONS SHOULD BE DESTROYED. If requested by a traveller, please provide a copy of the CE311, Translation of the Canada Border Services Agency Declaration Card.

Please make the following announcement before distributing the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Declaration Card at least one half hour prior to arrival in Canada.

"In order to speed up Canadian inspection formalities, travellers must complete a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Declaration Card and hand it to a border services officer when they arrive in Canada.

The CBSA Declaration Card allows you to list up to four people living at the same address on one card. Each traveller is responsible for his or her own declaration.  Please indicate to the crew member how many cards you want.

Declaration cards for persons with disabilities can be completed by family members or fellow travellers.

Please refer to the attached instructions when completing the card. If you have any questions regarding Canadian regulations, please consult a border services officer when you arrive at the airport."

Note: All crew members who are disembarking in Canada must also complete a card.
