T2007-4

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) would like to inform you of the following changes to the 2007 Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff, as contained in the T2007-4 Amendment Package.

• Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to paragraph 34(1) (b) of the Customs Tariff, hereby makes the annexed General Preferential Tariff Withdrawal Order (Bulgaria and Romania). P.C. 2007-1156, SOR/2007-173. (Effective on July 31, 2007).
• Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to paragraph 34(1) (b) of the Customs Tariff, hereby makes the annexed General Preferential Tariff Withdrawal Order (Republic of Belarus). P.C. 2007-1157, SOR/2007-174. (Effective on July 31, 2007).
• Pursuant to Bill C-26 and Bill C-6. The reference to the "Solicitor General of Canada" has been changed to the "Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness". (Effective on December 12, 2005, Corrected on August 23, 2007).

• Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 14 of the Customs Tariff, hereby makes the annexed Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff, (Harmonized System Conversion, 2007), No. 3. P.C. 2007-720, SOR/2007-98. (Effective on January 1, 2007).
• Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 14 of the Customs Tariff, hereby makes the annexed Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff - Pharmaceutical Understanding, 2007. P.C. 2007-964, SOR/2007-141. (Effective on June 14, 2007).
• Pursuant to Supplementary Note 1* to Section XI of the Customs Tariff-Schedule and P.C. 1997-2003 - Regulations Respecting the Customs Duty Payable on Woollen Fabrics Originating in Commonwealth Countries (Effective on July 1, 2007 and ending on June 30, 2008).

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) would like to inform you of the following changes to the 2007 Departmental Consolidation of the Customs Tariff, as contained in the T2007-2 Amendment Package.

• Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 82 of the Customs Tariff, hereby makes the annexed Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff, 2007-1. P.C. 2007-431, SOR/2007-65 (Effective March 29, 2007).

Notice of Ways and Means Motion to Amend the Customs Tariff Relating to the Travellers’ Exemption.

• The Description of Goods of tariff item No. 9804.10.00 in the List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Customs Tariff is amended by replacing the reference to “two hundred dollars” with a reference to “four hundred dollars.
